God's promises.....

Well it is that time of year again. Fresh off a sensational summer it is time for you to once again enjoy cafeteria food, social studies and teachers that love you oh so much.

Ah yes, school – it’s back. And from time to time during this 07-08 school year, you may need a little help. So here are three scriptures that promise to give you the help you need.

Promise of Gods Guidance:

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path.

Promise of Gods Wisdom:

James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

Promise of Gods Success:

Joshua 1:8
Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

We have a ton of activities coming up in our Epworth Student Ministries ........... we have a 7th Grade Retreat, our Confirmation Journey for 8th graders will be starting in about a month, our Senior High have their 13th annual Fall Retreat to Chicago and we have some overnighters, bring a friend nights and a bunch of other activities.
