It's Mission time...

Hey gang- hope your summer is off to a good start. Mine is. Last Thursday we had our first F3 (Fun, Food & Fellowship) at Sportway on Angola Road near Holland-Sylvania. It was an evening of go karts, pizza, miniature golf, batting cages, lots of laughs and did I mention pizza?

It's a hoot to see Big Man Chuck in a go kart .... and others crowding each other out to get the "fastest" car. Good time had by all........ if you weren't there........... well you just missed out! We'll probably do Sportway again in August......... stay tuned to our Youth Summer Schedule.

I am pumped about our upcoming Junior High Mission Week in Athens Ohio and our Senior High Mission Week in Chihuahua Mexico. It looks like we have about 35 going to Athens and 55 traveling to Chihuahua. Those of you who have been with us for a Summer Mission week know how much fun it is. This year is going to be great- we have some really cool stuff planned. With nearly 100 of you going with us this year, I think we are in for a rockin' time. I know for me it's easy to just say "I love Mission Workteams at Epworth". But instead of that, I am going to give you my top ten reasons for loving Epworth Summer Mission Workteams.........

10.     Free food for a week!
09.     All the community living I can handle.
08.     I get to listen to others snore at night.
07.     I am able to get in tune with nature – not too in tune, I still shower.
06.     I have a chance to fulfill one of my dreams of living as a missionary…                even if it is only for a few days.
05.     I can spend some much needed time working on my tan – my legs are                  whiter than white!
04.     Oh yeah, then there is the million dollar giveaway that everyone

has a chance to win…just kidding, that doesn’t really happen…

           but you can imagine what it’d be like if it did right?
03.     Uhhh, did I mention free food for a week and multiple ice cream                stops?
02.     The great evening devotions and sharing.
01.     I get to create memories that will last a lifetime with the greatest               students on planet earth, YOU!!!
