Bob Knowles
Schools went to: Stranahan Elementary, was the first graduating class at McCord Jr High and The Sylvania High (before it was Northview) and then on to Ohio State University (Go Bucks!) with a Finance degree.
Family: married to Karen for 37 years and we have a son, Jeff who is 30 and lives in Toledo and a daughter Allison who is 21 and a Senior at University of Cincinnati. Jeff is a residential and commercial contractor in Toledo and Allison plans on being a Junior High Teacher.
Pets: Nope --- had a goldfish once for 15 years....... got tired of taking the goldfish for a daily walk!
My favorite foods: Let's see...... top 3 - ice cream, ice cream and of course, ice cream. Cherry, pumpkin, apple, banana cream, lemon meringue, chocolate, blueberry and peach pies and let's not forget about oatmeal raisin cookies. The question was my "favorite foods" --- not "favorite nutritious" foods.
My favorite band or music: I'm a David Crowder groupee, Michael W and Hillsong are awesome..... and I love Oldies.
My favorite movies: I love movies, but Tuesdays with Morrie, Harry & The Hendersons, Caddy Shack, Uncle Buck, The Blind Side, Facing the Giants, Grumpy Old Men and Grumpier Old Men and Remember the Titans are a few of my top list!
In my spare time: Anything outdoors is great like snow or water skiing, boating, camping and of course, Mission work.......
Some items on my bucket list are: trip to Holy Land, Lake Powell houseboating, rafting trip in Grand Canyon, start a Disaster Response Team to name a few......
Favorite Scripture: Proverbs 3 : 5 - 6
Love God with all your heart and lean not on your own understandings;
Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will make your paths straight.
